Targeted Instructional Recommendations for California ClearMath Secondary

California ClearMath provides multiple opportunities to elicit student understanding, and it helps you use that information to determine what to do next. The Assessment Guide provides clear recommendations based on how students perform on assessed standards. Recommended next steps may include small-group activities, instructional strategies, or specific digital activities.

Digital activity recommendations from the Assessment Guide are also available in Clear Learning Center as Targeted Instructional Recommendations on the Assessments page for each topic.

You can access the Assessment Guide directly from the Assessments page for the Course, Module, or Topic containing the assessment you have given or plan to give. When you open the Assessment Guide from an Assessments page, it opens directly to the first page with recommendations for that group of assessments.

To view the recommendations in the Assessment Guide:

  1. Navigate to the Assessments page for the Course, Module, or Topic containing the assessment you have given or plan to give.

  2. Within the assessment section, open the Assessment Guide.

The Assessment Guide provides recommendations based on student performance, including suggested digital activities.

In Clear Learning Center, these digital recommendations appear as Targeted Instructional Recommendations on the Assessment page for each topic.
