Once activities have been assigned to students, you can view the status of all assignments on the Class Dashboard for any given class. From the Assignments tab, you can view an assignment, enter scores and feedback for submitted work, and edit or delete assignments.
The Assignments tab of your Class Dashboard provides an overview of all assignments for the class.
Assignment status is color-coded for easy viewing of what is going on with a specific assignment. Items in orange are submitted and waiting for you to score them.
Click on the Due Date column to sort in order of due date to see most recent assignments first.
Overdue assignments are bolded in red for your attention.
Use the filters to view a specific Status or a specific Type of activity.
You can click on any activity line or status circle to drill down into that assignment.
Already evaluated assignments will show a status of Evaluated. You can choose to edit those scores and/or give assignment feedback to students after they are evaluated. See Edit Scores/Add Feedback for details.
Note: Auto-evaluated eBook assignments that are submitted past the Due Date will show as Evaluated but automatically receive a score of 0. If you wish to give students credit for the assignment, simply edit the score for that student.
Assignments that need to be scored will show a status of Submitted. You should monitor this status on a daily or weekly basis to provide grades and feedback to students.
The orange Quick Evaluate icon will take you to the students with submissions needing scored for that assignment and you can choose the next student’s name in the dropdown or by using the arrows to scroll through.
Export Scores will generate a .csv file with all of the assignments on the screen. You can then manipulate that data to look at specific assignments, or transfer grades to your official gradebook.
Click Export Scores.
Click Generate New Score Report.
Allow the report to run, then click Download Score Report.
You can also grade by student from the Students tab of the Class Dashboard.
