Discussions offer opportunities for partner, small-group, or whole-class conversations. The discussions give students the chance to process their own thoughts through dialogue and learn from the insights of their peers. Groupings can be arranged at the discretion of the teacher based on the needs of the students in the class.
Discussion activities include starter prompts and often have space to capture student thoughts and reflections from the conversation.
