The Close Reading Videos are designed to model a close read based on the focused genre. You can use this tool as part of comprehensive instruction on close reading.
Open the Content Library and click the Resources tab to access your resources.
Find the Type filter, and select “Close Reading Video”:
Or, you can select “Close Reading Video” in your Resource filter
This will bring up all of your Close Reading Videos.
Students access the Close Reading Videos the same way, from their own Resources tab. Direct students to view the video and answer the Comprehension Check questions.
Note that the selection highlighted in each video is also featured in the Close Reading Program Resource. Use both tools for comprehensive instruction on close reading.
