Some eBook activities will be automatically graded and give students immediate feedback. However, more open-ended questions and personal responses will need to be teacher-graded. Those activities will show in Submitted status on your Class Dashboard, Assignments tab. From the Assignments tab, you can view an assignment, enter scores and feedback for submitted work, and edit or delete assignments.
The Assignments tab of your Class Dashboard provides an overview of all assignments for the class.
Assignment status is color-coded for easy viewing of what is going on with a specific assignment. Items in orange are submitted and waiting for you to score them.
Click on the Due Date column to sort in order of due date to see recent assignments first.
Overdue assignments are bolded in red for your attention.
Use the filters to view a specific Status or a specific Type of activity
You can click on any activity line or status circle to drill down into that assignment.
Already evaluated assignments will show a status of Evaluated. You can choose to edit those scores and/or give assignment feedback to students after they are evaluated. See Edit Scores/Add Feedback for details.
Note: Auto-evaluated eBook assignments that are submitted past the Due Date will show as Evaluated but automatically receive a score of 0. If you wish to give students credit for the assignment, simply edit the score for that student.
Assignments that need to be scored will show a status of Submitted. You should monitor this status on a daily or weekly basis to provide grades and feedback to students.
The orange Quick Evaluate icon will take you to the submission(s) needing graded.
