A Context Companion is designed to provide literary, philosophical, historical, cultural or other information related to the unit topics. The guide provides additional background not found in the lesson plans or Text Information Selection Sheets. It can be used as you plan the unit to help anticipate additional information that students may need as they go through the unit.
