Unit Home Supports is an optional Unit resource for Teachers. The document provides an overview of the Unit content for Teachers to share with families or caregivers. The overview includes information on the Unit’s writing tasks, guiding questions, and texts, as well as suggested questions that caregivers can ask students to encourage engagement. If needed, Teachers can edit the Unit Home Supports before sharing them.
Unit Home Supports are found in the Unit Overview in the left Navigation Bar.
They provide background on what students will be learning about in the unit as well as how parents and caregivers can support their students at home.
The Home Supports Resource for all of the units in the grade level can also be accessed in the Supplemental Resources section at the bottom of the Navigation Bar.
