Teachers accessing Flipgrid through the Safari browser will see the “Educator Login” prompt instead of being granted access to Flipgrid. To resolve this issue, teachers must enable cross-site tracking or switch to the Chrome browser. Instructions for enabling this setting are below.
Note: This error only impacts teachers and may not impact you. Students are still able to access Flipgrid without any changes.
If you attempt to access Flipgrid from your Resources page while using Safari, you may see this:
Try to log in with your Passport email address and password. If that does not work, you may need to change your Safari settings.
Change Safari Settings:
In Safari, open up Preferences
Go to Privacy
Locate and uncheck the “Prevent cross-site tracking” option:
