The Response Analysis Report provides a summary view of students’ responses for a single interactive assignment or assessment. Teachers understand the distribution of student responses at a glance.
The steps below outline how to view this report.
- Select View Details on any interactive assignment or assessment tile.

- If the interactive assignment or assessment has been submitted by at least one student, the See Student Responses button will be active.

Selecting See Student Responses will show you individual student responses for Interactive Assignments, Interactive Assessments, and Interactive Practice.

- Each column represents an item for the activity and shows each student's response for that item.
- The total column displays the student's overall score on the activity.
- The column headers identify each item, the item's question type, and display a histogram chart of the number of students that gave each response.
- The bars corresponding to fully correct responses are highlighted blue.
- The bar on the right counts students that did not attempt the item.
- Hover over the histogram chart to see detailed counts and labels for the responses.
- Each cell in the chart represents an individual student's response to an item.
- Blue boxes indicate students who received full credit.
- Gray boxes indicate students who received partial credit.
- White boxes indicate students who did not attempt the question.
- A dash ( - ) represents an item that was not attemped.
- R1, R2, etc is displayed for multi-select and multi-part items. Students who gave the same response to the item are allocated with the same Rnumber. Students who gave a unique response for the item are displayed with an ellipsis ( ... ).
If no student has received a score for the assignment or assessment, the See Student Responses button for that assignment or assessment will be inactive.
