We’ve pulled together helpful tools and videos to help you get started using MATHia with your students. After reviewing these, you’ll be able to create classes, add students, and create and assign content. Both videos and articles are provided to meet your learning style preference.
If you are completely new to MATHia, you might want to watch this demo first.
If you’re the kind of person that likes to read the manual first, check out the MATHia Resources for Educators. We also have a MATHia Student User LInks.
The setup for MATHia all takes place in the Teacher’s Toolkit.
You can get started by creating a class in the Teacher’s Toolkit.
Tip 1: Feel free to assign content to your class knowing that you can change it later (as long as students haven’t started working in that module yet).
Tip 2: If you want to become more familiar with the content before assigning it to your class, jump ahead to Navigating the Content Browser.
Part of creating a class includes importing students into Teacher’s Toolkit.
You can view all of the content in MATHia by looking in the Content Browser within the Teacher’s Toolkit.
Tip: You can also view the MATHia Tables of Contents for all of the courses.
If you’d like to create your own module made up of units that you select, you can create your own custom modules.
Tip: When creating your own module, it will be helpful to view the MATHia Tables of Contents for all of the courses.
