1. Open the Digital Lesson either from the Course Navigator or the Assignments page.
2. Once in the digital lesson, select the sticky note in the toolbar on the left.
3. Click anywhere on the page to open the sticky note.
4. When finished writing, click on the Save icon in the bottom right corner of the note.
5. Before closing the note, students will click the three dots to the right of the save icon to Share the note with your students.
Select the students who will receive the Note, and then click Done.

6. Students will receive a notification in their digital book that they have a new message. To access the message, they will:
a. Select the My Data icon on the left side of the digital book.
b. Select the bell icon on the right.
c. Accept the note sharing request.
7. Students will click on Notes to view their messages.
1. Once in their digital lesson, the student selects the sticky note in the toolbar on the left.
2. Click anywhere on the page to open the sticky note.
3. When finished writing, click on the Save icon in the bottom right corner of the note.
4. Before closing the note, students will click the three dots to the right of the save icon to Share the note with their teacher.
To share their note, students will check the box next to their teacher(s), and then click Done.
5. To locate the Notes shared by students, log into your Carnegie Learning account, navigate to the Assignments page, and select the assignment you would like to view.
6. From the assignment details page, select Review next to any student’s name.
7. Once the digital book opens:
a. Select the My Data icon on the left side of the digital book.
b. Select the bell icon on the right.
c. Accept the note sharing request.
8. Open Notes to view and reply to shared notes.
