The ClearMath instructional model model supports the mathematical development of elementary students during their scheduled math block and during other routine times throughout the elementary school day.
Two types of lessons allow students to learn new concepts and skills over a series of lessons and then pause and reflect on their learning in concept lessons.
Students engage in new learning they explore hands-on and gain based activities by virtue of teacher facilitated discussions to develop deep understanding. You will gather data from the reflect phase of the concept lessons to help your group students during the Explore phase of the Re-Engagement Lessons.
In Re-Engagement Lessons, students either clarify, solidify or stretch their learning from the previous 2 to 4 concept lessons. Using the Reflect data from the preceding Concept Lesson, you will group students into one of the five Explore centers to help support their individual learning goals.
