The Class Details Page in Teacher’s Toolkit (2024-2025)

The Class Details page in the Teacher's Toolkit allows teachers to restart or skip problems, lock and unlock modules, change student placement, or launch MATHia as a student.

 

RESTART OR SKIP A PROBLEM

 

If MATHia won't load or a student seems "stuck" in a problem, you can restart the problem.

 

1. Log into your My CL account and go to Teacher’s Toolkit.

 

2. Click on the Class Details tab in the upper left corner.

 

3. Check the box next to the student whose problem you need to restart or skip.

 

4. Left click on the module the student is working on and a gray menu will appear.

 

5. Click on Restart Problem or Skip Problem.

 

 


7. In the window that opens, choose Reset Current Problem or Reset Step-by-Step Problem.

 

 

Lock or Unlock A Module

 

1. Log into your My CL account and go to Teacher’s Toolkit.

 

2. Click on the Class Details tab in the upper left corner.

 

3. Check the box next to the student whose module you need to unlock.  To unlock the module for the entire class, click on the box to the left of Students to select the entire class.

 

4. Left click on the module you need to unlock and a gray menu will appear.

 

5. Check the Unlock Module and a screen will appear letting you know you successfully unlocked the module.

 

 

Change Student Placement

 

1. Log into your My CL account and go to Teacher’s Toolkit.

 

2. Click on the Class Details tab in the upper left corner.

 

3. Check the box next to the student whose placement you need to change.  

 

4. Left click on the module the student is working on and a gray menu will appear.

 

5.  From the Change Placement in Module screen select the unit and workspace for the student. 

 

LAUNCH MATHia AS A STUDENT

 

1. Log into your My CL account and go to Teacher’s Toolkit.

 

2. Click on the Class Details tab in the upper left corner.

 

3. Check the box next to the student whose MATHia you would like to launch.

 

4. Left click on the module the student is working on and a gray menu will appear.

 

5.  Select Launch MATHia to view the student's MATHia workspace.
