Fifteen workspaces were developed to cover Georgia standards.
Teachers have the ability to flexibly assign additional content in the form of mini-Readiness or Re-Engagement groups.
Readiness modules in MATHia gauge student readiness of concepts and skills that are prerequisite for any
upcoming content.
Re-engagement modules allow students to revisit concepts and skills that support and connect with new learning.
These groups are named according to their content and will be pre-populated for teachers..
This content can be found in the Additional Content located in a separate tab next to the primary sequence content. (Select Group is a dropdown menu and may appear empty at first glance. Click on the dropdown to reveal the Additional Content.)
Teachers can further edit their Additional Content on the MATHia Syllabus tab. Additional Content can be toggled on to view and edit.
Additional content will not affect a student’s APLSE score.
Based on need and problem-type complexity, additional Step-by-Step problems have been added.
Revisions were made to the number line tool to improve usability.
A new interactive protractor is now available as part of the Explore Tools.
The student MATHia experience has a new look.
The student app now alerts students in a separate Additional Modules tab when they have additional content assigned to them.
