The Summer Learning Pathways were intentionally designed as a course retake for those students who need to obtain course credit and/or have not yet demonstrated an understanding of the essential course content as identified by TEKS from their school year mathematics course.
*Note: MATHia sequences are available for the Summer Learning Pathways. For Summer 2023, these MATHia sequences will be available to ALL users. Free access to MATHia end July 31, 2023. To utilize MATHia sequences in your 2023 - 2024 school year OR for Summer 2024, you will need to purchase MATHia.
Selected Course Content: The Summer Learning Pathways course consists of 30 instructional hours of content. Therefore, intentionality in the selection of course content is imperative. Carnegie Learning instructional designers selected the TEKS that addressed essential and foundational skills necessary for students to be prepared for the next grade level or mathematics course.
Course Structure: The 30 instructional hours of this course are divided into three topics, including student lessons and a topic assessment. Skills Practice by topic are provided as an additional Learning Individually resources for teachers to use for targeted skills intervention or practice.
