  • Gauge student readiness of concepts and skills that are prerequisites for any upcoming content.  ReadyCheck Assessments can be found in Edulastic for MATHia Customers; MATHiaFlex Customers can find them in the Content Library.

Getting Ready/Review

  • Getting Ready/Review can be found at the beginning of each module so you can collect and interpret data about student readiness at the module level.

Review

  • This review can be found at the beginning of each lesson to set the stage for learning.

Questions to Support Discourse

  • These questions are located throughout your TIG.  Use these questions as you facilitate lessons to assess students’ sense-making and reasoning, to gauge what they know, and to generate evidence of student learning.

Talk the Talk

  • Talk the Talk can be found at the end of each lesson so students can assess and monitor their own understanding, and you can interpret how well they have demonstrated the learning outcomes and prepare for what’s next.

Assignment:  Practice Section

  • Assignments can be found at the end of each lesson so students can reflect on and practice the new concepts of the lesson

Mixed Practice:  Spaced Review
