When you log in to Passport, you will land on My Classes, which is your class list. From there, you can click on any of your classes to view the Class Dashboard with an overview of the students and assignments for that class. The dashboard allows you to easily view or edit students and assignments, as well as score and give feedback on student assignments.
You can use the pencil to the left of the class title at the top to edit the class settings at any time.
The Students tab of your Class Dashboard provides an overview of the students in the class.
Click Add Student to access a student invite code or manually register students.
Once students are added, you can easily view active and archived students.
You will see the student’s name, % of assignments they have submitted, the last date/time that they logged in to Passport, their total score and their assignment status.
You also have access to the Quick Evaluation icon if the student has submitted assignments needing scored.
You can reset a student’s password using the pencil.
You can archive a student from this screen by clicking the filebox icon.
Click on an individual student to see the student’s assignment details or Launch Student View.
The Assignments tab of your Class Dashboard provides an overview of all assignments for the selected class.
Clicking the Add Assignments button will take you to the Assignables for the program.
Export Scores will allow you to generate and download every assignment for every student to a .csv file. It does not take into account any of the filters you may set.
Assignment Status is color-coded for easy viewing of what is going on with a specific assignment.
Click on the Due Date column to sort in order of due date to see most recent assignments first.
Overdue assignments are bolded in red for your attention.
Use the filters to narrow down the assignments you see.
Use the Due Date filter to look at a date range or specific due date related status.
You can filter to view a specific Status such as Submitted (needing to be scored) or Evaluated.
You can also filter to view a specific Type of assignment, such as only eBook activities.
The orange Quick Evaluation icon will take you to the submissions needing to be scored for an assignment.
You can also click on any activity line or status circle to drill down into all details for that assignment.
You can use Quick Score to enter a score for all students with a submitted and not evaluated assignment, or click Quick Evaluate to view each submission and score them individually.
Click on any student to see that student’s submission and score details.
