At any time, you may edit your class settings, including title, level, co-teachers, max attempts, or class color.
If you are on My Classes, click the three dots to the right of the class name. Then, choose the pencil from the dropdown.
If you are on the Class Dashboard, click the Class Settings button to the right of the class title.
Edit the settings you wish to change.
You can edit the Title of the class to something that makes sense for you. It will be easier for you to determine which class you are assigning to and which class students need to be in.
Start / End Dates default to one year; for Clever and ClassLink it defaults to what the district has set.
You can choose a Class Color to distinguish your different class periods or levels/grades.
The Level for the course is the default level; you can still access and assign work from other levels.
For Max Attempts, be sure not to choose “Unlimited”; if you do, those assignments will not give students a grade.
You can add a Co-Teacher if needed. Please Note: If your district manages your classes using roster integration like Clever or Classlink, co-teachers will need to be assigned through your district. Manually adding a co-teacher will be undone when your data is synced.
Update Class should be enabled in blue text. If you are unable to select Update Class, please verify that all required fields are completed. Click the Update Class button to save your changes.
