Setting up World Language Classes in the CLC

Create a World Langage Class and Add Students

The Clear Learning Center (CLC) platform is designed to streamline educational management and enhance learning experiences. 3rd Edition T’es branché? and ¡Qué chévere! are located in the CLC. This step-by-step guide will walk you through setting up your World Language classes in the Clear Learning Center.

After logging in as an instructor, you'll land on the Tools Page. 
 

Navigating to Class Management Tool (CMT)

1. Click on the Clear Learning Center to access the Class Management Tool (CMT)  to begin setting up your class.

2. Start by adding a new class within the Class Management Tool. Click + Add a Class 

 

3. Select Subject by clicking on the tile. 


 

Add your Class Information
4. Name your Class; indicate the Start and End Date; and select the Instructor.
Select the Primary Course from the drop-down.


 

5. (Optional) Select Additional Content. You can add additional levels to your class and the Destinations Library (if purchased).  Proceed by clicking 'Next'


 

Managing Course Content

6. The products you are licensed to will be automatically selected.  For example, in this case, they are licensed to Destinations Library: French, the Teacher’s Edition, and the Student Edition.


 

7. Adding Students


 

 

Bulk Upload via CSV

To add students, download the CSV template provided. Fill in student details, including first name, last name, email, and username. Upload the completed CSV file by dragging and dropping it into the designated area or clicking 'Import'.

 

Add Students Individually 
Select them from a list provided by your school's roster.

 

Alternatively, you can add students manually by selecting Create a new student.


 

 

Finalizing Class Setup

Review the details of your class setup. Ensure all necessary materials and students are added correctly.

Click 'Done' to finalize your class setup within Clear Learning Center.

 

You have successfully set up your World Language class in the CLC.
