Your messages can be accessed by clicking the envelope icon in the top right corner of the online learning environment screen.
Inbox includes messages from Carnegie Learning regarding platform updates, new resources, any anticipated downtime, etc.
Inbox also includes messages from any students who have messaged you within the online learning environment.
You can reply to a student’s message, but you cannot initiate messages to individual students.
You can view Sent messages.
You can archive messages after you have read them and still access them later by viewing Archived messages.
You can Compose class announcements.
Click “more…” to show the entire message.
Click the filebox icon in the lower right corner to archive the selected message.
Click Compose.
To enlarge the sidebar, click the square with the arrow to enter fullscreen mode.
Enter a Title for the announcement.
In the Message Body, type the announcement.
You can format text in the message body, as well as include a link to a resource.
Just click the hyperlink and insert the web address for the resource.
Dates are optional.
Select at least one Class to send the message to.
Be sure to click the blue Send button.
