ExamView Overview WL

The ExamView® Assessment Suite allows you to quickly and easily create, administer, and score paper and online tests. The ExamView Assessment Suite is comprised of the ExamView Test Generator, ExamView Test Manager, and ExamView Test Player. *Your program may not have ExamView

INSTALL EXAMVIEW

 

 

  1. In the online learning environment, select a class and click on Content Library. From there, click on Resources.  

          

  1. Click on the Annotated Teacher’s Edition.

  1. Go to page 01, the Program Resources Page.

 

  1. If your program has ExamView, you will see it as an option towards the bottom of the second column of resources.

  2. Click on the link for ExamView.

  3. A new tab will open in your browser. Choose the folder that matches your computer’s operating system.

  1. Click on the file.

  1. Click on the download icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

  1. Click Download Anyway.

  1.  Once the download is complete, click in the bottom of your browser to Open. 

    1. If you are using a Windows computer, the file will then open in the Downloads folder located in your File Explorer.

    2. If you are on a Mac, the file will also be located under Downloads within Finder.

    3. Note: Examview is not supported on the newest Mac operating system, Catalina OS, but you can download the TurningPoint desktop app for features that replicate ExamView functionalities. See Related Articles below.

  2.  Locate the ExamView Installer and click to Open.

  3.  The ExamView InstallShield will launch. Click Next.

  1.  When the Licenses Agreement opens, accept the terms, and click Next.

  1.  Note where the Examview content is going to be stored and click Next.

  1.  Select the Complete download. Click Next.

  1.  Click Install.

  1.  Click Finish when the installation is complete.

  1.  If you are using a Windows computer, the icon for ExamView Test Generator will be located on your desktop. 

  2.  If you are using a Mac, you will need to click to open your launchpad. When you are ready to open ExamView, click to open the ExamView Test Generator icon. Note: Examview is not supported on the newest Mac operating system, Catalina OS, but you can download the TurningPoint desktop app for features that replicate ExamView functionalities.
