After an activity, bundle or IPA has been evaluated, you can edit and update the score and/or the feedback for any student submission. You can locate evaluated assignments on your Class Dashboard. You can look at assignments for an individual student, or all assignments for the class.
The Students tab of your Class Dashboard provides an overview of all students for the selected class.
Click on a student to see all of their assignments.
Use the Filters to narrow the selection by:
Due Date
Status
Type of activity
The Assignments tab of your Class Dashboard provides an overview of all assignments for the selected class.
Assignment status is color-coded for easy viewing of what is going on with a specific assignment.
Filter to Status Evaluated to view assignments with scores.
Click on the Due Date column to sort in order of due date to see recent assignments first.
Overdue assignments are bolded in red for your attention.
Use the filters as above to narrow the selection by Due Date, Status or Type of activity.
Click on an assignment to see the status, submissions and scores for all students.
Under Scoring Options, you can enter a Quick Score to give the same score to all submissions that have not been scored. This is great for giving completion grades for an assignment.
You can also click on the orange Quick Evaluate button under Scoring Options to enter the evaluation screen for submitted assignments.
Click on the student’s assignment you wish to edit from your Class Dashboard.
You will see the assignment details along the top, including: Activity Type and Title, Student (click the dropdown or arrows to move to another student), Due Date/time, and Submitted Date/time.
Below is the Attempts information (for eBook activities), Score box, Feedback box and the student’s submission(s).
This screen varies depending on the type of activity. See related articles for more detailed scoring instructions.
To update the score, simply enter the new Score for the activity and click Submit to save changes.
Update Feedback for the student if desired. Be sure to click the Submit button below the feedback box to save changes.
You will see a confirmation that the assignment was updated.
You can Reset Assignment Status for submitted or evaluated assignments. This resets the assignment to Assigned status and deletes the current score, but does not give the student additional attempts for eBook activities or change the due date. See related articles for details.
You can select another student from the dropdown list or scroll from student to student using the arrows to the right and left of the student’s name.
