Performance activities can be submitted for a single assignment, or be part of a bundle or IPA. All Performance activities are teacher-graded. Submitted activities are scored through your Class Dashboard, Assignments tab. From the Assignments tab, you can view an assignment, enter scores and feedback for submitted work, and edit or delete assignments.
The Assignments tab of your Class Dashboard provides an overview of all assignments for the selected class.
Assignment status is color-coded for easy viewing of what is going on with a specific assignment. Items in orange are submitted and waiting for you to score them.
Click on the Due Date column to sort in order of due date to see recent assignments first.
Overdue assignments are bolded in red for your attention.

The orange Quick Evaluation icon will take you directly to the submission(s) needing to be scored.
You can click on any assignment to see the status, submissions and scores for all students, not just those needing to be scored.
Already evaluated assignments will show a status of Evaluated. You can choose to edit those scores and/or give assignment feedback to students after they are evaluated. See Edit Scores/Add Feedback for details.
Assignments that need to be scored will show a status of Submitted. You should monitor this status on a daily or weekly basis to provide scores and feedback to students.
Under Scoring Options, you can enter a Quick Score to give the same score to all submissions that have not been scored. This is great for giving completion grades for an assignment.
You can also click on the orange Quick Evaluate button under Scoring Options to enter the evaluation screen for submitted assignments.
Click on the assignment you wish to score from your Class Dashboard.
You will see the assignment details along the top, including: Activity Type and Title, Student (click the dropdown or arrows to move to another student), Due Date/time, and Submitted Date/time.
You also have the option to Reset Assignment Status if you would like the student to re-do the assignment. See Related Articles for details.
Below is the Score box, Feedback box, Teacher Feedback Video window, and Oral Proficiency Rubric Scoring buttons.
At the bottom of the screen, you can view the student’s submission. When you are evaluating student submissions, you will see the student’s video, as well as their comments and self-evaluation score. You can click Preview Activity if you need a refresher on what the student was asked to do.
After viewing the submission, scroll up to enter score and feedback.
Enter the Score for the activity - this is the minimum required.
Enter written Feedback for the student if desired.
Record Teacher Feedback Video for the student if desired. Note: For mobile users, you will be prompted to upload or record a video on your device.
There is an Oral Proficiency Rubric available to optionally score students and track their progress along the proficiency continuum. Click the radio buttons to select one for each measure. Clicking the title of the rubric will launch a PDF with full details on scoring.
Be sure to click the Submit button after entering Score (required) and any desired feedback.
You will see a confirmation that the assignment was updated when you submit scores or feedback.
You will be advanced to the next student with a submission. Continue scoring the rest of the students. After all assignments are scored, you’ll be returned to the assignment list.
You can also select a student from the dropdown list or scroll from student to student using the arrows to the right and left of the student’s name.
