Archive Students

If you have a student who drops a class or switches class periods, you can archive them without losing any data. You still have access to the archived class.

*If your school uses Clever or ClassLink, your classes and students should be automatically archived when new classes are available for the next semester or school year. If students switch class periods, they will be automatically archived from the old class and added to the new class.

ARCHIVE A STUDENT

 
  1. To archive a student, you must be on the Class Dashboard for their class.

  2. Find the student and click on the filebox icon  to the far right of the student’s name.

 

 

  1. Click yes to confirm the archive.

 

 

  1. You will be returned to the student list. Archive other students if necessary.

  2. You can reverse an archive if it was done in error.

 

DELETE A STUDENT

 

There may be times when you need to completely delete a student. In order to delete a student, they must first be archived. Students can remain as archived or be deleted. Students who are archived can be reactivated, but once they are deleted, they are removed from Passport. 

 

  1. To view archived classes, click on the Archived Students tab.

  2. Click on the trash can to the far right of the student you wish to permanently delete.

  3. Click yes to confirm the delete.

 

 

  1. Delete other students if needed, or click on the Active Students tab to return to your active student list.

  2. You cannot un-delete a student.
