The Clear Learning Center makes it easy to tailor instruction to meet the needs of your students. Customize interactive assessments by removing questions and reordering the remaining questions to better align with your instructional goals and your students' learning needs. Follow the steps below to use these customization options to create a more personalized learning experience.
1. Locate a customizable resource you’d like to assign. Resources that are customizable will have a “Customize” button just beneath the resource description.
2. Select Customize on the resource you would like to assign.
3. Preview the questions using the scroll bar on the right. To help minimize the amount of scrolling you need to do to preview the remaining questions, you can close the preview for a question by selecting the X in the upper-right corner of the question.
4. To remove a question from the assignment or assessment, select the blue checkmark.
5. To reorder the questions, drag and drop them using the handle (dots) on the right side of each question.
6. When you've finished making your changes, select Continue in the lower-right corner.
7. Enter a description for your customized activity. The description is only visible for teachers. You can also rename the activity, if desired. The title is visible to students. Then, select Create.
When you return to your course materials, you’ll see:
Select the arrow in the upper-right corner of the resource to view all customized versions of the assignment or assessment. You can assign a customized version at a later date from within this view by selecting + Add.
